As part of this module, as stated in my PDP, I wanted to become more confident in the studio. Following the workshops, I was able to pick up new skills in setting up my lights. I wanted to use the colour gels, and created some effects. I wanted the images to be strong, and vibrant, and I chose my models also for this reason. My models, who are dancers, would be able to pose well and make great angles for the shots. I also have a close relationship with them as friends, and knew we would all be comfortable in the studio environment. I was very happy with the results, and so were they. I made sure I stuck to all the right procedures, having model release forms, and keeping to good ethics. I found that once I had shot a few images, I felt instantly more confident in my abilities to photograph a model in a studio. I feel I am able to expand on this shoot, and do more to build my confidence.
